Storm, Gotchya....

I'll try that rather than the fire build.

Oh my...
Outside of solo farming -
Healing Signet/Lion's Comfort + an elite attack skill > Healing Prayers, period.

Healing Prayers, on the whole, are energy inefficient, attribute-intensive, and, in the case of 'wammo' type skills (Mending, Breeze, Hands) vulnerable to enchant strips.
If you *must*, for some obscure role-play reason, useHealing Prayers, stick to Vigorous Spirit/Live Vicariously. They provide more healing, use less energy, and don't require you stop and cast as much. (No, i'm not condoning HP at all on a warrior - just presenting slightly less sucky alternatives)

For PvE???

Yeah, that does make sense. However, I've been using this build for a very long time and can tank nearly anything..........cept mesmers. However, that's why I have my healer and my husband's paragon with me.
Saves my vulnrable butt when there are too many mesmers.

Can't do PvP with this build, but it's very effective nearly everywhere I go. My husband uses the build you've suggested and I long outlast him when the going gets tough.

I'll switch up my build and see what works for me. I almost always switch back though.
The only problem with Live Vicariously is that it's -1 energy degen. I don't typically use a lot of adrenaline attacks. I have it pretty balanced.

Bonetti's Defense is good when I go against a melee foe. Doesn't exactly help with spell casters, but it gives me enough energy boost to get off my elite, another energy based axe attack, two adrenaline attacks, then I repeat.

I never have energy problems, and I stay alive when everyone else around me dies. So I figure it's a pretty good build comparitively.

I'm always open to suggestions though.

That is my usual build that I run with..but this mission is a PITA. :/
I would drop Bonetti's Defense, seriously such a thing isn't needed at all.

I would go with three adrenaline attack skills and Counterattack to help with energy and provide decent damage.

Drop the entire Healing Prayer attribute tree seriously. The only self-heal a Primary Warrior should ever bring is Healing Signet or Lion's Comfort. Although, if you trust your monks well enough, you can go without the self-heals.

Stick with a Secondary Profession that will greatly assist your Warrior's role as a DPS machine.

He knew exactly what you were talking about, he's just obnoxious.

The reason there isn't a build like that around is that it requires Warrior's Endurance for energy. Warrior's Endurance is very specialised and unpopular and doesn't fit into normal warrior builds.

warriors endurance does have pretty good synergy with wild blow, specialy if your going to spam wild blow (vs shiro for example)

rough build like...
warriors endurance
wild blow
furious axe
swift chop
power attack
counter attack
lions/heal sig
endure pain
res
max axe and high strength. if in factions bring charm animal, then u can replace that with the celestial skill and still keep the pet

my fav axe elite is tripple chop tho
